Who We Are
12th Street is a family. As a family, we share our lives together: our joys, our sorrows, our victories, and our defeats. We are devoted to God’s word and do our best to live in obedience to that word as revealed in Scripture. For example, the early church practiced the Lord’s supper every week when they met together, so we do the same. We strive to please Him in our worship and in our service to one another and to our neighbors. We desire to be known as a family of love: love for God, love for one another, and love for our fellow man.
What To Expect
Each Sunday, we have Bible classes for all ages at 9:30. For adults, we have a class that meets in the auditorium, a class for college age and young adults, and a discussion based class for parents and adults of all ages, the “Family Builders.”:
Our worship assembly on Sundays at 10:30 begins with announcements and prayer requests, and includes prayer, enthusiastic congregational singing a cappella (without instrumental accompaniment), communion, and inspiring preaching. Through the school year, we have a potluck luncheon two to three times per month, just for our visitors. We invite you to visit any time and even enjoy lunch with us on many Sundays.
